Role and Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain effective, professional relationships with project team members, including owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Oversee jobsite safety requirements, ensuring compliance and proactive reporting.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise field operations for a range of projects, from simple to complex.
- Provide technical direction and ensure the overall quality of work meets high standards.
- Set productivity goals, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain efficient construction schedules and coordinate with trade partners for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Contribute to project financial success.
- Strong collaborative skills and a commitment to continuous growth and development within the industry.
- 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, including new construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
- Knowledge of Alternative Project Delivery Methods (APDM), including Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Job Order Contracting (JOC).
- Experience managing highly sensitive projects within educational, municipal, and healthcare settings is essential.
- Familiarity with building codes and the ability to interpret plans and specifications.
- Understanding of Lean Construction practices and the Last Planner System.
- Proficiency in technology including Microsoft products, Bluebeam, Viewpoint V6, Procore, and Primavera.
