This role is key to wrapping up projects the right way — you’ll be responsible for restoring job sites, final grading, and helping prep for inspections and project close-out. Key Responsibilities
- Perform final grading, backfill, and compaction to meet job specs
- Restore landscaping, sidewalks, driveways, or pavement as needed
- Set and adjust utility structures like manhole rings/lids and valve boxes to final grade
- Assist with cleanup and job site restoration before inspections
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and ready for turnover
- Work closely with foremen and inspectors to ensure punch lists are completed
- Over 5 years of experience operating a motor grader to create smooth, level surfaces on construction sites
- Proven experience operating finish blade equipment in civil construction
- Strong understanding of grading, slopes, and finish tolerances
- Ability to read grade stakes and follow site plans
- Safety-focused, dependable, and able to work in a team environment
- Hardworking, honest, and committed to doing quality work
- Able to work in changing outdoor conditions
- Reliable and take pride in their craft
