Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education in a play-based enviornment.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s social-emotional well-being.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive development, fine and gross motor skills, and early intervention strategies for diverse learning needs.
- Manage classroom routines effectively to ensure smooth transitions, structured lesson delivery, and individualized attention for students with special education requirements.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support children’s welfare through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain discipline while encouraging independence and respectful interactions among students.
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management best practices.
- Experience with curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education accommodations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families in their children’s learning journey.
- Certification or credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching; experience with private school settings is advantageous.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
