Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to sharing the word of God and with young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and supporting the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants and children. Specific age group this role will support is TBD.
Duties
- Create lesson plans that align with educational standards and faith-based curriculum.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among students.
- Foster effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
- Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and other essential documentation.
Qualifications
- Must be 19 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
