Role Description
This is a full-time overnight on-site role for a Security Officer located in Miami Beach, FL. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling designated areas, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders. Duties include enforcing property rules, reporting suspicious activities, and assisting in emergency situations to ensure the safety of clients, guests, and property.
Qualifications
- Experience and skills in surveillance, patrol, and responding to security incidents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for interacting with clients, guests, and team members
- Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and conflict resolution
- Detail-oriented with the ability to remain alert, observant, and calm under pressure
- Relevant certifications, such as a valid state security license, CPR, and first-aid training (preferred)
- Prior experience in private security, law enforcement, or a related field is advantageous
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with physical fitness to perform required duties
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training in security or law enforcement is a plus
