Construction Laborer – Support Complex Civil and Industrial Infrastructure Builds

The Opportunity:
You will serve as the backbone of our construction operations, executing various core installation techniques across high-profile civil projects. This role places you on a definitive career track where your dedication is rewarded with advanced training, mentorship, and clear opportunities for promotion. Working directly under experienced field supervisors, you will build the foundational skills needed to master the heavy construction trade.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Execute manual field installation tasks, including digging, spreading, shoveling, and leveling earth to fine-grade specs.
- Measure precise distances from grade stakes, drive stakes, and set tight lines to assist machine operators.
- Provide critical hand signaling to heavy equipment operators to ensure exact alignment and adjustments.
- Position, join, align, and seal structural pipe sections for complex utility and water systems.
- Mix, pour, spread, and finish fresh cement, concrete, gravel, and other foundational materials.
- Build and erect vital on-site structures, including scaffolding, shoring systems, and structural components.
- Maintain comprehensive job site quality control, ensuring installations are completed correctly the first time to eliminate rework.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Two to five years of proven construction experience, with a strong preference for heavy civil projects.
- Active OSHA 10 safety certification and a high commitment to upholding site safety protocols.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Ability to strictly follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively within tight-knit field teams.
- Capability to exert heavy physical effort, routinely handling and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and maintain balance at heights or in extreme weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated background as a skilled laborer with specialized knowledge in grading and utility pipe laying.
- Prior experience with scaffold erection, shoring installation, and advanced trenching techniques.
- Proven understanding of cost-control principles to keep field installations on time and under budget.
- Willingness to travel flexibly to various regional job sites requiring overnight stays
