Purpose
This position supports Kings United Way’s mission by serving as the operational backbone of the resource development team. This role manages donor pledge administration and acknowledgements, coordinates organization-wide donor cultivation, maintains and analyzes fundraising data, and supports fundraising projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associate's degree or training in a related field. Experience may be substituted for education requirements.
Experience
Applicant must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with community partners, volunteers, and staff. Must demonstrate that they are a creative and innovative thinker with strong communication skills and experience in developing and delivering presentations to large groups.
Must have proven organizational abilities to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure. Experience with CRM/donor relationship management database systems is highly desirable.
Other Qualifications
Must be sensitive to the community's cultural, economic, and language needs. Must be
willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, if needed. Must be willing to commit to continuous learning and be adaptable to change. Must possess excellent relationship-building skills and have close attention to detail; concern for accuracy.
Transportation
Must possess reliable, insured transportation with minimum auto insurance coverage as
required by law. Must possess a valid California driver’s license and be able to use a personal
vehicle in the course of routine job duties, when necessary.
Physical Requirements
Must have good attendance and be punctual. Ability to sit or stand continuously for long periods of time. Ability to carry/transport office supplies, equipment, and retention file boxes. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Ability to move within the office and at events. Ability to drive a vehicle.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage the CRM database, generating leads and reports, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of account data.
2. Execute recognition strategies for Resource Development accounts, affinity groups, and volunteers.
3. Coordinate and manage workplace campaign from beginning to end, taking initiative to schedule and execute presentations.
4. Achieve timely acknowledgements with current donors and appropriate contact with prospective donors.
5. Support resource development through extensive research of new and prospective donors.
6. Maintain all social media platforms and website to effectuate storytelling of KUW programs and services and how they benefit the community, as well as promote fundraising events.
7. Secure corporate sponsors and individual donors for Power of the Purse, Christmas Charity Festival, and other fundraising events associated with KUW.
8. Provide excellent donor service, ensuring requests for information from donors are responded to in a positive and timely manner.
9. Become proficient in CRM database, with the ability to create reports and mailing lists.
10. Author Annual Report.
11. Assist with special projects, when needed.
12. Perform all duties in a safe manner so as to avoid injury to self and others.
13. Other duties as assigned, such as attending staff meetings, completing accurate and timely timesheets, and covering the switchboard.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
