What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at Kings Teriyaki & Sushi?
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable team member to join us at Kings Teriyaki! This position is primarily focused on cashier and customer service duties, with some light sushi preparation involved.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers and taking orders accurately (in person and by phone)
- Operating the POS system and handling payments
- Assisting with packaging to-go orders
- Maintaining cleanliness in the front area and dining space
- Helping with basic sushi prep and restocking supplies
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience in food service is a plus (but not required—we’ll train the right person!)
Schedule:
- Weekday coverage needed, with possible weekend shifts
- Schedule will be set in advance and remain consistent when possible
