Job Overview
We are a locally owned and growing dumpster rental company serving the Aiken, SC and Augusta, GA areas. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded CDL driver to join our team two days per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the company continues to expand.
This position involves operating a manual transmission roll-off truck to deliver, swap, and pick up dumpsters at residential, commercial, and construction sites. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have strong backing skills, and provide good customer service while representing our company.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a manual transmission roll-off truck
- Deliver, swap, and pick up roll-off dumpsters
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure loads and follow DOT safety requirements
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Report maintenance or safety concerns
- Help keep the truck and yard organized when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Must be able to legally operate a manual transmission commercial vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Previous manual commercial truck experience preferred
- Roll-off experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong backing skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
