Job Summary
Under direction of the designated administrator, coordinate services in various academic and enrichment/recreation related areas to improve the educational advancement and social interactions for children and youth in schools throughout Kings County; serve as on-site coordinator for Expanded Learning Program; serve as a liaison between the County Office of Education, school districts, and other agencies.
Requirements / Qualifications
An Associate’s (AA) degree in a field related to education with demonstrated successful experience working in an after school type program is highly preferred. May be required to possess a valid California driver’s license and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County.
Equivalent to graduation from high school and/or any combination of experience and training to provide the required knowledge and skill. An AA degree, or 2 years equivalence of acceptable college coursework, or successful passage of an acceptable rigorous assessment is highly preferred. Must pass an Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test with a score of 70% or higher in the areas of Math, Reading and Writing, or provide High School Proficiency verification;

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (One-to-three letters of recommendation, at least one from within the past year)
