Poker Game Attendant
Primary Function
To operate the poker floor in alignment with the mission and core values of Stones Gambling Hall.
Essential Responsibilities
All job duties are to be performed in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures and other legal regulations and requirements. Essential responsibilities include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.

Record all poker staff time ins and outs.

Be aware of Title 31 thresholds and work in conjunction with the cage, chip runner, and Table Games GAs to ensure compliance.

Record any cash-in transactions that occur on the gaming floor over $2,500 on the Multiple Transaction Log (MTL) in the Casino Tracking System (CTS).

Obtain proper customer identification before a cash-in currency transactions exceed $10,000 in a single gaming day.

Report any suspicious activity observed or reported by gaming employees to the Casino Shift Manager.

Create Dealer rotation and ensure a smooth flow of the poker games by starting games, maintaining games, breaking games and managing player seating.

Execute accurate financial transactions with guests and team members involving the exchange of chips for cash, cash for chips or chips for chips by following proper departmental procedures.

Properly verify and accurately payout guest promotions based on departmental procedures; payout and update jackpots.

Provide a high level of game protection including consistent rule enforcement and game control.

Resolve disputes and diffuse problems at the Gaming Table; issue proper decisions pertaining to each game based on the poker decision making manual.

Enforce "Player Conduct Rules" consistently for all games and players.

Responsible for operating and maintaining an accurate Poker Floor Bank assigned at the beginning of each shift according to department procedures.

Assist Dealers with the exchanging of chips for cash, or chips for chips to keep an accurate balance in the Dealer’s trays.

Promote teamwork efficiency by observing and reporting on performance levels of Poker Dealers, Poker Chip Attendants, Poker Prop Players and Poker Board staff in regards to following proper departmental procedures.

Monitor and report on the accuracy of poker dealers collecting the poker revenue ("the collection") from the pot in accordance with departmental collection procedures.

Establish and maintain a good rapport with guests to promote continued patronage.

Responsible for promoting and keeping up-to-date knowledge of all active promotions, cash games and tournaments in the Poker room.

Report to Casino Shift Manager (CSM) or Security any individuals in the casino who appear to be underage, intoxicated, whose conduct appears to be illegal, or who poses a threat to the Company's operations

Education and/or Experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills are required. High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills. Ability to accurately calculate addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in an efficient manner.
Reasoning Ability: The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
