What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adventure & LTS Middle School Site Coordinator position at Kingdom East Unified Union School District?
The Site Coordinator supervises staff and students, designs and manages academic and enrichment programs, and is responsible for all aspects of the KEAP site administration on a daily basis. KEAP operates according to Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center grant requirements and school policies and procedures. The Site Coordinator plans and directs the elementary Early Release program at their assigned site, or the Early Release Middle School off-campus trips, as assigned by the 21C Program Director.
The Adventure Coordinator leads middle school outdoor enrichment activities (biking, hiking, skiing, fishing, etc) and high-interest enrichments (cooking, robotics, etc.) during the school-day as scheduled. The Adventure Coordinator may also lead KEAP afterschool outdoor and enrichment programs and works full time leading outdoor and high-interest enrichments during the KESD Summer Camp.
This combined position is in charge of supervising students and staff, transporting students, and works under the supervision of the KEAP Program Director on a daily basis.
The regular work schedule is 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility as arranged with the 21C Director. The position pays $25/hr, and includes benefits.
