About Us:
King’s Tree Service LLC is a fast growing, reputable, and safety focused tree care company serving the Portland metro area. We specialize in removals, pruning, hazard mitigation, and high quality residential and commercial tree work.
We are currently hiring an experienced Tree Climber to join our crew.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform technical removals, pruning, and rigging using proper climbing techniques
- Operate chainsaws, ropes, saddles, and arborist gear safely and efficiently
- Set safe rigging systems, tie proper knots, and lower material with control
- Inspect trees for hazards, structural issues, and pruning needs
- Communicate clearly with the ground crew and follow lead direction
- Maintain equipment and keep gear in safe working condition
- Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year of professional tree climbing experience
- Skilled with rope and saddle, spikes, rigging, and chainsaw operation
- Strong understanding of proper pruning standards
- Reliable, safety focused, and physically capable of demanding work
- Able to work well in a team environment
- CDL is not required
Pay:
- Climbers start at $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience and skill
- Wage increases available based on proven performance
