Job Overview:
Our local and well-established small company is seeking a full-time, experienced Tree Climber with advanced skills to join our team. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for performing various tree care and maintenance tasks, including tree trimming, pruning, and removal. Pay is negotiable and depends on experience.
YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF YOU DON'T HAVE TRAINING IN TREE CLIMBING AND TREE CARE.
Tree climbing training and advanced experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Must pass a drug test, including cannabis.
Responsibilities:
- Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and other climbing equipment
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal according to industry standards
- Use chainsaws, hand saws, and other tools to cut branches and limbs
- Ensure proper disposal of tree debris and clean up work areas
- Assess tree health and identify potential hazards or diseases
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tree Climber
- Proficient in operating climbing equipment
- Knowledge of tree care techniques, including pruning and trimming
- Ability to identify different tree species and assess their health
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
