What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Junior Producer position at King Studio?
Zach King has spent the last decade redefining digital storytelling, blending "magic" with filmmaking to inspire millions of people around the globe. Behind every viral illusion is a dedicated team of creators, and we’re looking for a Junior Seasonal Creative Producer to join us for a high-impact three-month on-site position.
This is a "maker" role for someone who is early in their career and ready to get their hands dirty. We need someone who can support our creative process and help bridge the gap between a wild idea and a polished final edit. A deep, native interest in social media is essential — we want someone who lives and breathes on the platforms where our magic lives.
As a Junior Creative Producer, you’ll be in the heart of the lab, assisting our crew to bring new ideas to life. You will help support the production of Zach’s Personal Content, learning how to turn a spark of an idea into a finished masterpiece. If you’re a recent film school grad or a burgeoning creator who loves the "puzzle" of production, we want to meet you
We are currently creating out of our studio in Agoura Hills, but we’ll be moving to a brand-new creative space in Westlake Village this March! You’ll be with us on-site for the whole transition.
Ready to make some magic?
- Support the PC Pipeline: Assist in the production of Zach’s Short-form Social Content. You’ll help with creative brainstorming, setting up mockup videos, and tracking projects from start to finish.
- On-Set Assistance: Support our lead producers on-set by coordinating gear, managing basic crew needs, and ensuring the set stays organized and high-energy.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work alongside our in-house Art and VFX teams to help coordinate the physical and digital elements of a shot.
- The Creative Room: Join our weekly creative writing sessions every Monday to brainstorm new ideas and learn the storytelling beats of the channel.
- Production Logistics: Help with the "behind-the-scenes" essentials, including basic scheduling, organizing assets for post-production, and assisting with expense reports.
- Social Media Native (Essential): You don’t just "use" social media; you understand it. You know what makes a thumb stop scrolling on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and IG.
- Production Background: You are likely a recent film school graduate or have 0-2 years of experience in production. You have a basic understanding of the production pipeline—from shot lists to the editing room.
- Tech Foundations: You have a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite. You understand the basic technical specs (ratios and resolutions) for social media platforms.
- Eager to Learn: You are a "puzzle solver" who can learn the King Studio workflow quickly. You are proactive, resourceful, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
- A Collaborative Spirit: You are creatively open and a clear communicator. We win as a team, and you’re excited to contribute your energy to the group.
