Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies efficiently throughout shifts
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by cleaning glassware, bar surfaces, sinks, and equipment in accordance with food service bar safety compliance standards
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas promptly to ensure a tidy environment
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper technique to prevent injury
- Support food handling and preparation tasks as needed, including basic food prep for garnishes or accompaniments
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially within bars or hospitality venues
- Familiarity with venue beverage service operations including bar cleaning, bussing, and food handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing
- Knowledge of food industry safety standards and alcohol service regulations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve guests professionally
- Experience working in banquet, catering, hotel settings or similar hospitality venues is a plus
