The Event Producer is a key member of the Virtual Events and Legal Proceedings (VELP) team, responsible for supporting the firm’s technical and A/V needs for events and legal proceedings. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in managing complex, high-pressure situations with professionalism and a calm demeanor. This role involves frequent interaction with senior firm members, city and government officials, and our clients. Occasional overnight travel to offices and venues may be required to support large events and proceedings.

New York: The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $125,000 to $160,000.
The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities
Meeting Support
- Provide technical support for video conferencing, projection, and audio equipment.
- Coordinate daily meeting coverage with VELP colleagues during morning briefings.
- Coordinate and design technical productions for high-profile meetings involving firm leadership and community stakeholders.
- Provide end-user support and training for video conferencing platforms including Teams, Webex, and Zoom.
- Maintain documentation and instructional content.
- Help train users in using our conference room systems efficiently.
- Maintain, Upgrade and Repair components in the meeting rooms and event spaces.
- When available, provide help to local IT Manager and their team.
- Collaborate on large event delivery with internal marketing and business development teams.
- Operate specialized A/V production equipment including cameras, lighting, and networks.
- Participate in all phases of event production from initial intake through rehearsals and final delivery.
- Meet weekly with the office’s Senior Manager, Hospitality and Conference Center Services to align schedules and expectations.
- Responsible for running and supporting our large, specialized meeting space that utilizes several key pieces of technology including a large video wall, Analog Way Aquilon presentation equipment and other key pieces of technology.
- Deep understanding of the use of A/V technology that is used to present content and audio in other mixed use common spaces within the building
- As a member of the firm’s VELP team opportunities exist to be cross trained to support technical needs of various trials and legal proceedings that we are called on to produce. This may include:
- Assist with intake and planning for trials, arbitrations, and mediations held in firm offices.
- Help configure our on-site facilities to meet the unique needs of each proceeding.
- Support logistics including packaging, shipping, and inventory management of VELP equipment.
- Travel to remote offices to provide on-site installation and support for attorneys, clients, co-counsel, and court personnel as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3 years of equivalent experience.
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable interfacing with all levels of the firm and clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge or experience using video presentation/switching systems (Aquilon, Tri-caster, etc.).
- Experience in using audio mixing equipment and variety of wired/wireless mics needed to produce events.
- Knowledge or NVX and NDI platforms.
- Capable of lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with ability to manage tasks independently.
- Law firm experience preferred.
- Experience in legal technology and trial graphics is a plus.
- Basic networking and technical troubleshooting knowledge are a plus.
- Knowledge of lighting and framing for video production is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
