POSITION SUMMARY:

This role focuses on designing, coding, testing, and monitoring data-related systems and applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Database Management – design, optimize, and maintain relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and accessibility
2. Data Integration – integrate disparate data sources (e.g. API’s and cloud platforms) to create unified datasets for analysis and reporting
3. Data Pipeline Development – build, test, and maintain scalable pipelines that transform raw data into usable formats for analysis and other applications
4. Report Development and Data Visualization – design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards. Train end users on BI tools and best practices for self-service reporting
5. Automation & Optimization – automate repetitive data processes and optimize queries to improve performance and reduce latency in data deliver
6. Testing and monitoring – ensure data systems and applications are functioning correctly and are performing as expected
7. Understanding business needs – collaborate with other teams to understand business requirements and ensure the data solutions meet those needs
8. Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. Min. HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
2. Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and DAX
3. Solid understanding of data technologies and platforms (such as Microsoft Fabric)
4. Experience with database design and data modeling
5. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
7. Adaptability, ability to shift focus when priorities change
8. Agility, ability to iterate through tasks and work on multiple projects
