Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales.
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer’s shopping experience and increase store revenue.
- Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end.
- Use strong phone etiquette to answer inquiries and support customer needs over the phone when necessary.
Experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus, especially in managing team tasks or training new staff.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
- Familiarity with retail math for calculating discounts, totals, and change accurately.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances your ability to succeed in this role.

Pay: $10.00 - $10.50 per hour
