We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that facilities are kept in pristine condition. This role is essential for maintaining a clean and safe environment for all employees and visitors.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of various surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure a polished appearance.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to support facilities upkeep.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
