Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Manager role based in Jefferson, OH. The Procurement Manager will lead sourcing and purchasing activities for materials, components, and services required for manufacturing and operations. This role includes evaluating and selecting suppliers, managing RFQs and bids, negotiating contracts and pricing, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met. The Procurement Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, production, finance, and logistics to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and resolve supply issues. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining procurement records, supporting cost-reduction initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Procurement and purchasing processes, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and supplier relationship management to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Demonstrated skills in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, including terms, pricing, and performance metrics.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for cost analysis, demand forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems and solid understanding of inventory management principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Jefferson, OH, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are an asset.
