Position Title: Quality Manager
Area of Requirement: Quality Assurance / Compliance
Scope of Position:
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing the Quality Management System (QMS) across all contract activities. Must be on-site during Government working hours and available within two hours after hours. Reports directly to a senior corporate official (not PM).
Tasks and Capabilities Required:
- Lead development and execution of the QMS and QC Plan.
- Perform inspections, audits, and verification of contract performance.
- Ensure compliance with NAVFAC requirements, CDRLs, and reporting requirements.
- Manage deficiency tracking, corrective actions, and trend analysis.
- Lead CAPA Teams
- Interface with Government quality representatives.
Mandatory Experience and Certifications:
- Current ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
- Minimum five (5) years of experience preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Must report directly to a senior corporate official, not to the Project Manager.
- Must be on-site during Government hours and available within two hours after hours.
Preferred/Desired Certifications:
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- NAVFAC QC Manager certification
- Experience with large-scale BOS/O&M environments
