Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Honolulu, HI. The Ssho. Jbphh will oversee safety and health compliance for construction and operations activities, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, implementing safety programs, maintaining detailed documentation, and providing training to staff on safety standards. The role will involve close collaboration with project teams and management to promote a culture of safety and ensure project success while minimizing risks.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Safety and Health Standards, risk assessment, and hazard prevention.
- Familiarity with construction management, operations protocols, and best practices in workplace safety.
- Experience in creating and implementing safety programs, including training and compliance monitoring.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to lead safety discussions and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant certifications, such as OSHA, First Aid/CPR/AED, or CSP certification, are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in documenting safety processes, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance reports.
- Previous experience in government contracts or military environments is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
