Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Department: Base Operations and Support
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for managing the project’s Quality Control Program to ensure all O&M activities meet or exceed contractual requirements. Possess a high level of attention to detail,
strong work ethic, and provide accurate timely reporting, communicating effectively to management as well as the government representatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain and execute the quality control program in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), applicable laws, regulations, and best commercial practices
· Ensuring that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met in accordance with the project’s requirements
· Manage and develop workload schedules for team
· Provide training and support for staff to ensure understanding and adherence to quality stand-ards and safety requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
·Conduct regular inspections and audits of services to ensure compliance with contract specifications and standards
· Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure non-recurrence of defective services
· Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions
· Prepare and submit detailed quality control reports and deliverables including recommendations for continuous improvement
· Provide timely, accurate, and relevant data and analysis to enable effective management of maintenance operations
· Create and present recommendations to streamline production processes in ways that heighten quality standards
· Ensure final services adhere to all specifications and regulations
Required Skills and Experience:
· 5 or more years of experience performing quality control management functions in a Public Works, base operations contract environment
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Proficient in written and oral communication skills according to skill requirements
· Ability to use a computer, is proficient with Microsoft Office productivity suite and other com-puter programs
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times, stressful environment
· Preferably have a Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM) certificate
· Knowledge of industry standards – ISO 9001
· Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged period of standing, bending, reaching, and working with hands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Occasional periods of prolonged exposure to loud noises

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times

Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands as necessary

Ability to hear and see to position and safety requirement levels

Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals
Special Qualifications/Requirements:

Must be able to successfully pass as required a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
