Position Title: Assistant Contract Maintenance Manager (ACMM)
Area of Requirement: Greater Bay Area, California
Scope of Position:
Supporting the CMM, the ACMM shares full accountability for the execution of O&M activities, emergency responses, and process improvements. The ACMM coordinates cross-functional teams, enforces maintenance standards, and leads special projects—such as facility modernization initiatives and sustainability programs—while stepping into the CMM role as required. Responsibilities also include contract transition support, development of technical procedures, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed capital improvements.
Tasks and Capabilities Required:
· Operational Support: Lead daily maintenance briefings, assign work orders via CMMS, track completion rates, and verify quality through post-task inspections.
· Project Coordination: Manage mid-level capital projects (e.g., HVAC system upgrades, backup generator replacements) by defining scopes, monitoring schedules, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
· Customer Relations: Maintain strong working relationships with clinical and administrative departments; gather feedback to drive service-level improvements.
· Technical Documentation: Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), emergency action plans, and maintenance checklists; train staff on new protocols.
· Data Analytics: Compile and interpret maintenance data trends to forecast equipment failures, optimize PM frequencies, and support life-cycle cost modeling.
Mandatory Experience and Certifications:
· Five (5) years’ progressive experience in healthcare facility maintenance leadership roles.
· Proven track record in emergency response coordination and continuity-of-operations planning (COOP).
· Familiarity with regulatory inspections (e.g., NFPA, TJC, OSHA) and corrective action planning.
Preferred/Desired Certifications:
· ASHE Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
· Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
· Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
Special Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
