Delivery Driver (FedEx Contractor)

King Capital Transport is a FedEx Ground Contractor with IMMEDIATE openings for package delivery drivers! We are looking for motivated, safe drivers who will provide outstanding service to our customers. Drivers will start out of the terminal located at 2700 N Mulroy Rd, Strafford, MO 65757, and then deliver to homes and businesses in surrounding areas. Drivers will operate in vehicles provided by the employer.

Working Hours

· Normal Scheduled Start Time is between 7:00am and 8:00am

· End Time can vary depending on weather, package volume, seasons, and employer discretion

· Full Time Schedule: Monday through Friday with Rotating Saturdays

Pay

· Starting pay is between $150 - $175 Per Day, D.O.E.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

· Report to terminal prepared to examine and organize daily load before departure

· Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip van inspections

· Deliver and pick up all assigned packages within the prescribed time windows

· Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the package or injury to oneself or others

· Provide friendly and professional customer service while delivering packages

· Utilize scanning technology and electronic devices to track and record delivery information

· Adhere to all local traffic laws and safety regulations

· Operate delivery van safely, securely, and competently

· Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company

Delivery Driver Requirements

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Must have a valid driver’s license and have held it for at least 3 years

· Must be fluent in English

· Must submit to a background check and motor vehicle report

· Ability to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Test

· Ability to lift up to 60lbs on your own and 150lbs with a cart

· Ability to get in and out of a vehicle several times every day

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· DOES NOT REQUIRE A CDL!
