Activities Assistant

King-Bruwaert House is a premier Senior Living community located in Burr Ridge, Illinois. With the completion of our two newest buildings, The Martin Jahn Healthcare Pavilion and our luxurious Independent Living apartments, "The Gardens" 2024. We're excited with the continued growth and expansion of our beautiful community and the quality of care we provide to our residents.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Activity Assistant to create, set-up, and facilitate activity programming for all levels of care in our senior living community. Previous experience working with senior population. Strong computer skills and strong command of the English language are a must.

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Dementia Practitioner Certification strongly preferred
• Strong computer skills, public speaking and written documentation required
• Experience working with senior population, preferably those with Dementia
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and push 40lbs
• Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job
• Must maintain a neat and appropriate appearance
