About the Role
As a Field Patient Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in serving patients directly in their homes, clinics, and care facilities. This is a field-based position that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work independently while representing our company with professionalism and care.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with experience in caregiving, healthcare support, customer service, or related fields — including Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), patient care technicians, and others with a passion for helping people.
What You’ll Do — Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, install, and set up durable medical equipment (DME) at patient residences, clinics, and care facilities.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe, effective equipment use and answer their questions clearly.
- Coordinate and communicate with scheduling, clinical staff, and drivers to ensure timely appointments.
- Maintain accurate records, complete documentation, and manage schedules independently.
- Perform light inventory checks and handle equipment returns/collections as necessary.
- Uphold professional conduct and represent company values in all patient interactions.
Who We’re Looking For — Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to travel to patient homes.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and managing time effectively.
- Professional and courteous demeanor with a focus on patient care.
Preferred, but not required:
- Healthcare experience (CNA, patient care technician, caregiver, medical office support).
- Experience teaching or guiding patients or customers on equipment or procedures.

$100,000 per person bodily injury liability
$300,000 per incident bodily injury liability
$50,000 property damage liability
$1,000 or less deductible on collision insurance, if you carry collision insurance on your vehicles.

Exposure
Job responsibilities will be performed within a clinic environment or patient home. There is high risk for exposure to infectious disease as this position does have direct contact with patients and/or equipment. Should the employee become infected with Tuberculosis, they will report to their direct supervisor to ensure that other employees are not at risk for exposure. The employee will seek medical attention and not return to work until released by a physician.
