Architectural Job Captain / Designer
Kinetic Design Inc. is immediately hiring for an Architectural Job Captain / Designer with knowledge and experience in Retail, Restaurant, and Commercial projects. The candidate must be proficient in developing construction documents and demonstrate strong construction knowledge and technical drawing skills. Knowledge of IBC and ADA codes is required.
Primary Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years of work experience in an architectural office
· Strong Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam skills
· Responsible for construction documents and design exhibits
· Responsible for correcting and updating drawings
· Ability to kick off projects to consultants, track progress, and review drawings for completeness
· Ability to take direction from the Architectural Project Manager and work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
· High level of organization and attention to detail
· Understanding of commonly used practices within the industry
· Effective communication with clients, project leaders, consultants, and team members
· Ability to prioritize and manage tasks against deadlines
· Self-starter, motivated, takes initiative, and applies a strong work ethic with attention to detail
· Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and construction document phases of a project
· Demonstrate an understanding of constructability and complex design coordination
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This is a full-time position working from our Orange County office.
