Job Advertisement: CNC Operator
We are currently seeking a high-skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our team at Kinequip to assist in the manufacturing of complex, high-precision products for specialty vehicles, lighting and other markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machinery and ensure that all equipment is calibrated and running smoothly
- Operate various automated and manual manufacturing equipment
- Perform assembly and processing of machined parts according to specifications
- Work safely and identify and correct safety hazards.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with machinery and make necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education - High School Diploma
- The can-do attitude with a desire to learn new skills and tackle complex tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly and machine set-up
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the use of hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on experience in reading technical drawings, assembling and testing
- Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Forklift operation
Additional desired qualifications
- Strong computer skills including hardware, software, and CAD/CAM packages
- Experience in welding, pneumatics, HVAC
