Job Summary
Kinequip is a manufacturer and distributor across many industries providing exceptional customer service. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. You will manage the daily flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure goods reach their destinations safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive Goods: Unload delivery trucks, inspect incoming packages for damage, and verify contents against packing slips.
- Ship Orders: Pack, seal, label, and prepare outgoing products securely according to carrier requirements.
- Push/Pull: Pull components from shelf to be pushed out to the production line and back again
- Log Inventory: Track and enter shipment data into our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Operate Machinery: Safely use forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials.
- Maintain Safety: Keep the loading dock and warehouse work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist in basic facility maintenance as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Tech Literacy: Familiarity with inventory software, shipping platforms (FedEx, UPS, DHL), and basic MS Excel.
- Physical Ability: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus (we can also provide on-the-job training).
- Traits: Strong attention to detail, good time management, and a reliable attendance record.
