Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed or license-eligible Substance Use Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is client-centered, ethical, and motivated to provide high-quality substance use treatment within a supportive clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide substance use counseling services to individuals and/or groups
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EHR
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training as required
Qualifications
- Active Maryland license or license-eligible (e.g., ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LCADC, LCPC, LCSW, or equivalent)
- Experience working with substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team
- Commitment to ethical and professional standards of care
