JOB OVERVIEW:
At Kindred Treatment Center, we believe that strong teams create meaningful healing. As an outpatient behavioral health program, we are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support and elevate our day-to-day HR operations.
In this role, you’ll be supporting our team, strengthening our culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and healthcare standards. From onboarding new hires to supporting employee relations and compliance, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and well-supported workplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a go-to support for team members regarding benefits, recruitment, onboarding, and HR processes, prepare and present HR reports and metrics for leadership review
- Lead welcoming onboarding and orientation experience for new hires
- Guide employees through HR policies, procedures, and handbook questions with clarity and professionalism
- Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant employee personnel records
- Support licensing, credentialing, and compliance tracking for clinical staff
- Promote a positive workplace by supporting employee relations and addressing concerns thoughtfully
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as accreditation standards
- Assist with audits, reporting, and HR data tracking
- Partner with leadership to support employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture
- Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, workers’ compensation, and leave management (including FMLA)

- Solid experience in Human Resources and Administrative tasks, including HR processes and payroll coordination with familiarity to behavioral health or healthcare settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive situations and resolve conflict

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
