Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, guiding them in their academic and personal growth. This role involves developing and implementing lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a positive relationship with students, parents, and staff.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and assistance with standardized testing preparation.
- Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate the needs of students requiring additional support.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns that may arise.
- Supervise classroom activities and ensure the well-being of all students, particularly in toddler care settings.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
