Oversight and ownership of the company’s Butane Quality Compliance, Data Management, and Optimization Program, ensuring butane quality, regulatory compliance at the Federal, State, and local levels, and the maximization of blending opportunities.

This position performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
- Building and maintaining terminal volume tracking reports
- Coordinating laboratory testing and related activities
- Interfacing with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Monitoring refined product quality and collaborating with sites to optimize blending operations
Position Requirements
- Cross check field volumes against butane BOLs and volume spreadsheets.
- Daily communication with field personnel and other departments.
- Daily tracking of receipt volumes and validating field enter data into terminal specific spreadsheets.
- Familiar with DOT and IATA shipping procedures to produce and distribute hazardous materials shipping documentation.
- Identify and immediately relay to QC Management any butane volumes near compliance maximums.
- Identify and immediately relay to QC management off-spec butane COAs.
- In collaboration with Inventory personnel and IT personnel, build and generate reports for volume monitoring.
- In collaboration with the QC team, review and update applicable department procedural manuals.
- Monitoring of blend volumes to ensure regulatory compliance samples are obtained in a timely manner.
- Must accept supervision and work cooperatively with others.
- Prepare reports and other documents for regulatory agencies and the company's compliance programs.
- Frequent communication with regulatory consultants.
- Review and manage butane quality COAs to determine product quality and maintain proper documentation.
- Supporting activities for annual EPA attestation.
- Track and manage spending with consultants and third-party petroleum testing laboratories.
- Data analysis to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues in the blending process.
- Comfortable interacting with leadership.
- Create of PowerPoint presentations.
- Research and interpret local, state, and federal regulations and laws that pertain to refined products, and other applicable industry standards such as ASTM, API, and others.
- Work with suppliers to resolve all balance-related invoices.
- Work with terminals to perform root cause analysis and resolve quality issues with refined products.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to employees.
- Travel to terminals to troubleshoot analyzers and work with butane maintenance to ensure that analyzers are functioning properly. 20 percent travel required.
- Proficient in Microsoft office, including Excel, outlook, and word.
- Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
