Assistant Teacher (Full Time and Part Time)

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our team full time and part time. As a teacher at Kinder Kastle, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students, focusing on their educational, social, and emotional development. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and prepares children for future academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage classroom activities and create a positive learning environment.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment in compliance with state regulations.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of each student.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure educational goals are met.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and behavior.
• Implement behavior management techniques when necessary.
• Provide literacy education and physical education opportunities.
• Prepare students for standardized testing as required.
• Support the lead teacher (for assistant teacher role) in executing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong background in special education and childhood development or willingness/eagerness to learn.
• Ability to effectively educate and support students with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficient in behavior management techniques.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting.

Assistant Teachers:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience in a childcare setting is a plus.
• A genuine love for working with children and supporting their development.
