Kinder Haus Montessori is looking for a dependable, passionate, and experienced Montessori teacher to join our Primary classroom (ages 3–6)!
Montessori certification is preferred, but candidates with hands-on experience in an authentic Montessori classroom are encouraged to apply. We are specifically seeking someone who understands and has experience with the Montessori philosophy and classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an educator who:
- Understands the Montessori philosophy and can support child-led learning, independence, hands-on lessons, and respectful guidance.
- Creates a peaceful, calm classroom environment through consistency, patience, positive redirection, and appropriate expectations.
- Is actively engaged with children throughout the day, offering lessons, observing development, supporting individual needs, and encouraging purposeful work.
- Takes pride in maintaining a beautiful classroom, including cleaning, sanitizing, organizing materials, preparing activities, and keeping the environment inviting and functional.
- Has strong classroom management skills and can confidently navigate challenging behaviors while remaining calm, patient, and respectful.
- Communicates effectively with families, including sharing classroom updates, discussing developmental progress, and addressing concerns professionally.
- Is reliable, punctual, and accountable. Consistent attendance and the ability to follow through on responsibilities are essential.
- Works well with a team, communicates respectfully, supports fellow teachers, and contributes to a positive working environment.
- Takes initiative and recognizes what needs to be done without requiring constant direction.
- Is receptive to feedback and committed to professional growth.

Qualifications
- Montessori certification preferred (AMI, AMS, NAMC, or comparable Montessori training).
- Previous hands-on experience in an authentic Montessori classroom required for applicants without certification.
- Experience working with children ages 3–6.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work collaboratively with others.
