Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator with experience in the mortgage banking industry to support our hiring efforts and help deliver a seamless candidate experience. In this role, you will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate requisition requests, manage candidate pipelines, schedule interviews, and ensure the recruiting process runs efficiently from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, and internal databases
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and posting job requisitions.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings for basic qualifications
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple teams and time zones
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Maintain accurate candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support hiring managers with pipeline management, interview logistics, and follow-ups
  • Prepare interview materials and collect feedback from interviewers
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate progress
  • Assist with onboarding coordination, including background checks and new hire paperwork

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative support
  • Prior industry experience in Mortgage Banking strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HR tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Pay Disclosure

The starting base pay for this position is $25/hr. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Work Location:

The preferred candidate will work in the corporate office in Irvine, CA. Well qualified remote candidates within the United States will be considered.
