Position Summary
Candidates in this position will be responsible for the overall review of Final Settlement Statement (Final Alta’s) for the Post-Closing Department. Candidates will analyze, verify, and cross-reference fees to ensure any discrepancies be addressed promptly to the respected parties. Candidates will work with internal staffing to ensure all or any refund(s), tolerance cure(s), principal reduction(s) and CA Per Diem is calculated and are handled in a timely manner. Candidates will generate and e-send the borrower(s) the Post Consummation Closing Disclosure.
Responsibilities
The starting base pay range for this position is $24.00 per hour, non-exempt and eligible for overtime. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Responsibilities
- Ability to work daily with outside Escrow companies to receive the Final Settlement Statement (Final Alta) within 48-72 hours preferably.
- Review, analyze, and audit Final Settlement Statements (Final Alta) within 5 calendar days of the date we received the Final Settlement Statements (Final Alta)
- Review, analyze, and audit the Final Settlement Statement (Final Alta) and ensure all fees match and compare to our fees in our L.O.S. system (Blue Sage) and fees are in accordance with regulations
- Generate the Post Consummation Closing Disclosure and upload, Index in our L.O.S. system (Blue Sage)
- Work with internal staff/departments within the company and or Escrow to get issues corrected
- Occasional scanning of Mortgage documents
- Perform daily file management to ensure all aged loans are being attending to promptly
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal directives
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing with employees and investors
- Effective critical thinking, analyzing, and error proofing skills
- Manage and follow-up of personal pipeline to ensure files are processed in a proper and timely manner
- Ability to work independently, analyze data, take, and recommend appropriate action with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to use Adobe Pro, PDFsam and AIQ
- Experience and working knowledge of Blue Sage our current L.O.S. system
- Strong understanding of various mortgage documents such as Final Settlement Statement (Final Alta), Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, DU/LPA, 1003’s/65’s, 1008’s/1077’s, and Appraisals
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements including underwriting and investor guidelines and or requirements
