Kind Care Animal Clinic is a newly opened veterinary clinic looking to expand!
We are an independently owned small animal hospital in beautiful Sandy, OR. Our team provides quality veterinary care through teamwork and a passion for a Fear Free approach. We take pride in building a practice that values collaboration and encourages growth.
The Role
We’re looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant (VA). The position will be 36-40 hrs/week with a 4 day work week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with surgeries and dental procedures, including anesthesia prep/monitoring and dental radiographs.
- Collecting and processing lab samples (venipuncture, cystocentesis, cytology, blood pressure, etc.).
- Collecting histories, accurate record keeping and reviewing estimates.
- Administering treatments, vaccinations, and medications.
- Contributing to a positive team culture built on respect, flexibility, and support.
What We’re Looking For
- Oregon CVT certification or equivalent experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
- At least 1 year of experience in a small animal veterinary setting.
- Someone who is detail oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Someone who’s dependable, adaptable, and eager to continue learning.
- Fear Free certification, or experience with a Fear Free approach, and a passion to educate pet owners on the benefits!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
