Job Title: Assembler Trainer
Department: Assembly
FLSA Class: Non-Exempt
Pay Type: Hourly
Job Summary: The Assembler Trainer trains and certifies team members to build Kimray products.
Essential Job Functions:
- Trains and coaches team members in the areas of Assembly, Sub Assembly, Electronic Control Devices, Saleable Subs Final and/or Subs for Final Assembly
- Orders parts for Assembly builders
- Performs Assembler job duties, as needed, maintaining a high production level
- Assists team members with problem solving activities
- Leads 5S action teams
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
- Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience with Kimray products preferred
- Completion of Kimray Train-the-Trainer course required
- Strong conflict management skills preferred
- Ability to operate Computers, Printers, CTS Tester, Hoists and a variety of power, pneumatic and hand tools
- Must be proficient in computer and technological skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
- Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must pass background check and drug screen.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment:
- Warehouse environment with elevated noise and moving equipment
- Continuous skin exposure to oils, greases, adhesives, paints, and other chemicals
- Continuous exposure to atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system
- PPE required in specific areas
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
