About the Position
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial roofing projects from award through closeout. This individual will coordinate field operations, manage project budgets and schedules, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure every project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate is an organized, solutions-oriented construction professional with commercial roofing experience and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial roofing projects throughout the New Orleans area
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelines
- Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Monitor project costs and maximize profitability
- Review contracts, project specifications, and construction documents
- Procure materials and coordinate deliveries to meet project schedules
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates to customers and company leadership
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Manage project documentation, change orders, billing, and closeout activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support repeat business
Requirements
- Experience managing commercial roofing construction projects
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and installation practices
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multiple priorities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Valid driver's license
