Kimley-Horn is looking for an experienced Software Developer in our Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrations with existing and new vendor platforms to extend out-of-the-box functionality via API’s, Webhooks, Flat Files, etc.
- Build and optimize Web APIs to facilitate data exchange between internal software products and third-party vendor platforms
- SQL Database Administration (performance tuning and maintenance, agent jobs, monitoring)
- Translate business requirements into scalable back-end processes to help streamline and improve daily workflows
- Contribute to technical design for existing and emerging products in Kimley-Horn’s portfolio
- Document, support, and maintain integrations and applications post deployment
- Participate in code reviews and provide quality assurance/quality control
- Quickly evaluate bugs, and apply hot fixes to resolve issues
- Understand and apply best practices; remain knowledgeable of trends in the software development industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 4-6 years relevant experience
- Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision and is looking to mentor/develop younger staff
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Logging (DataDog, Azure App Insights)
- Vendor Platforms: HRIS (UKG Pro, ADP, Cornerstone, Absencesoft), ERP (Deltek Costpoint), CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
