Responsibilities
A senior technical strategist responsible for aligning Microsoft’s evolving platform and AI capabilities with business outcomes.
Platform Strategy & Governance
- Serve as the strategic owner of the Microsoft 365 platform, aligning Microsoft’s roadmap with business priorities
- Define and maintain governance standards for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online
- Evaluate new Microsoft features and lead enterprise readiness, risk assessment, and rollout planning
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to implement retention policies, sensitivity labeling, and audit capabilities
- Ensure M365 services align with regulatory, contractual, and organizational security requirements
- Lead adoption strategies for new productivity capabilities, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Copilot
- Use analytics and reporting to monitor usage, adoption, and value realization
Qualified candidates should have a passion for technology, a business mindset, a customer service-oriented attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work with others. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize, troubleshoot/resolve problems and follow-through with internal clients.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology
- Minimum of 5 years as a hands-on administrator of Microsoft solutions, including Outlook, Office suite, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, with at least 3 years in an environment with 500 end users
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory or Entra
- Ability to understand basic Windows Active Directory; user accounts and security groups
- Strong communication, written, and customer service skills
- High aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies
- A self-starter that can work with minimal supervision; highly organized
- Experience in enterprise environments (500 users preferred)
- PowerShell automation experience at scale
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Defender for Office 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft Graph
- Microsoft certifications (M365, Identity) preferred
