Sales Support Representative (Customer Service/Admin Focus) (Temp-to-Hire) — Irvine, CA

Pay: $23–$25/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday -Friday

A growing packaging-related company is seeking a highly organized Sales Support Representative to join a fast-paced office team in Irvine, CA. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a sales team behind the scenes—handling quotes, order documentation, coordination with vendors/customers, and keeping details accurate from start to finish.

Role focus (important): This is a customer service / administrative sales support position. You will not be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, or closing new business. Your focus is supporting existing accounts through order entry, documentation, coordination, and follow-up.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the sales team with quotes, estimates, and pricing worksheets
• Process and track sales orders, including purchase orders, order forms, and invoices
• Enter and maintain order details in the CRM/ERP system (updates, changes, confirmations)
• Communicate with vendors and customers to follow up on open quotes and jobs in progress
• Review confirmations for accuracy and help resolve discrepancies quickly
• Assist with month-end reporting and customer reconciliation tasks
• Pull, pack, and ship samples to leads/customers as needed
• Request freight quotes and support shipping/logistics coordination
• Maintain basic inventory/stock tracking spreadsheets and replenishment requests
• Help download and process online orders; organize freight paperwork and backups

What we’re looking for

• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities while staying organized
• Professional communication skills (written verbal)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Familiarity with CRM systems; NetSuite is a plus
• QuickBooks experience is a plus
• Packaging/print industry experience is helpful, but not required

Experience: 2–3 years of sales support/customer service experience preferred, but not required. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply (internships, admin office work, customer service, or project-based experience counts).
