Position: Customer Service Representative

Job Duties:
- Provides courteous, timely, and effective responses to a wide range of customer inquiries and service requests through multiple communication channels, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory service standards.
- Creates and updates customer accounts, conducts research, and navigates the Customer Information to resolve complaints and correct account discrepancies.
- Supports customers in using online self-service tools and electronic payment portals, including assisting with system access, navigation, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Manages daily on-cloud meter reading operations, including assigning, tracking, and monitoring route downloads/uploads; offers guidance and technical
- Reviews, analyzes, and edits meter reading data and performs appropriate follow-up actions as needed.
- Accurately processes customer payments and prepares cashier reports and bank deposits.
- Efficiently dispatches service and troubleshooting calls to field personnel with accuracy and urgency.
- Notifies management and relevant departments of emergencies, including water outages, main breaks, and other critical incidents
Qualifications;
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Familiarity with utility or comparable service industry, contact center systems and customer information system terminology
- Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as regulations, procedure manuals, and rate schedules, etc
- Proficiency in PC applications such as Windows, Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Internet
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with their supervisor, co-workers and the public
- Ability to perform basic mathematic functions, calculate figures, and reconcile account information
- Bilingual skills may be required
