CNC Machinist

Position: CNC Machinist
Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 p/h, DOE
Location: Orange, CA


Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with the ability to operate 3 and 4 Axis CNC milling machines along with manual machining equipment. Will be responsible for setting up machines, performing machining operations, and ensuring parts meet blueprint specifications and tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of machining techniques, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools
• Set up and operate 3 and 4 Axis CNC milling machines
• Perform machining operations to produce precision machine parts
• Verify part conformity to blueprints and specifications
• Select appropriate tooling for CNC multi-axis equipment and manual machines
• Operate manual machining, honing, and grinding equipment
• Maintain material traceability and accurate shop order documentation
• Record activities in Machine Event Logs
• Assist area leads in troubleshooting and improving machining processes

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of related experience operating CNC multi-axis machines
• Experience with CNC lathes, routers, and/or 5-axis core mills
• Knowledge of manual machining, honing, and grinding equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Meet ITAR requirements along with pre-employment background and drug test
