Aerospace Data Entry Specialist

Job Title: Aerospace Data Entry Clerk – Quality Department Location: Lakewood, CASchedule: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri 7am-4pm) Payrate: $27 per hour Job Summary:We are seeking a highly accurate and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support the Quality Department of our aerospace manufacturing startup. This role requires strong 10-key typing skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering, maintaining, and verifying critical quality and compliance data. Due to the nature of our work, ITAR compliance is required.Key Responsibilities:Accurately enter quality-related data using a 10-key pad (e.g., inspection results, non-conformance reports, certificates of conformance, supplier documentation)Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets, databases, and logs, including formulas, pivot tables, and filtersEnsure all data entry and recordkeeping aligns with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and internal quality proceduresSupport quality assurance documentation processes, including inspection reports, quality audits, and traceability recordsVerify accuracy and completeness of records before entry; escalate inconsistencies to the Quality teamQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment is required10-key by touch typing speed of 8,000 KPH or higherStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)Familiarity with ITAR compliance and handling of export-controlled dataDetail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Skills:Previous experience supporting a Quality Assurance or Quality Control teamExperience with ERP or QMS systems (e.g., NetSuite, Plex, IQMS, SAP, etc.)Knowledge of AS9100 or other quality standardsExperience with document control and data traceability in a regulated industryPandoLogic.
