General Manager- Aerospace (MRO)

An established aerospace manufacturing facility in Torrance, CA, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations across Part-145 MRO Distribution, Repair, and Technical Services. This critical leadership role will focus on delivering outstanding service to global aerospace clients, ensuring operational excellence, and driving customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic direction for the facility, aligning with business goals and objectives.
• Lead the delivery of exceptional service across Distribution, Repair, and Technical Services, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
• Manage operations to meet key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and performance targets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to proactively address customer needs and identify opportunities for growth within the aerospace sector.
• Oversee staffing, budget management, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Aerospace industry experience is a must. MRO Part-145 knowledge required.
• High school diploma (or equivalent); advanced qualifications a plus.
• Must have ERP/SAP experience as well as familiarity with business accounting principles.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience in team development.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements in the aerospace sector, with a proven ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.
