Job Title: Product Manager

Department: Product Management

Job Summary: As a Product Manager at Kimberbell, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of our innovative and creative product lines. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure our products meet market needs and drive the company's growth. You will leverage your expertise in product lifecycle management, market analysis, and strategic planning to deliver products that delight our customers and uphold Kimberbell's reputation for quality and creativity.

Position Type

  • ¾-time (30-35 hours per week)
  • Full-time (37-40 hours per week)

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop product roadmaps and strategic plans aligned with company goals.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure product success.
  • Manage product lifecycle, including updates, enhancements, and discontinuations.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize products.
  • Create and maintain detailed product documentation and specifications.
  • Sourcing new materials for use in products/production.
  • Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders and team members.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations to maintain Kimberbell's competitive edge.

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 1 years of experience in product management, preferably in the craft or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product life cycles from concept to launch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Occasional travel may be required for trade shows, conferences, and supplier visits.

You’ll collaborate closely with our product development team, helping shape not just the process, but the product itself. There’s even room for a bit of creative design work along the way, especially as you help bring new ideas to life.

Later, you might team up with the marketing crew to fine-tune upcoming launches and make sure our messaging really shines. Keeping an eye on what’s happening in the market and what our competitors are up to is part of your flow too—it helps keep our roadmap fresh and on point.

By the afternoon, you’ll dive into some of the behind-the-scenes magic like checking in on sourcing and testing, updating documentation, and setting your priorities so tomorrow starts off strong.
